Algae & Microalgae Dehydration Machine
Algae, Seaweed, Carrageenan dehydration is the process of removing water from algae, Seaweed, Carrageenan, typically for preservation, storage, or further processing. Algae, Seaweed, Carrageenan are photosynthetic organisms that can grow in a variety of environments, such as freshwater, saltwater, and even wastewater. They are used for a wide range of applications, including food and beverage production, biofuels, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.
Understanding Algae Dehydration:
Dehydration of algae is typically achieved by exposing the algae to heat or air, which causes the water to evaporate. Various methods of algae dehydration exist, including spray drying, freeze drying, sun drying, and oven drying, but this kind of method has some deduction on the product quality like nutrients, colour, and flavour and is, therefore, suitable for high-efficiency output using the Refractance Window Drying technology. The resulting dehydrated algae can be stored for extended periods of time and is easier to transport and handle than fresh algae. It also has a longer shelf life and is more stable, making it a more convenient form for further processing or use in various applications.
